About MedAudit
MedAudit is a collaboration platform for clinicians and students at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ("SGH"). It connects project leads running audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research with colleagues who wish to contribute.
MedAudit is currently in beta. Features may change, and the platform is provided as-is during this phase. By using MedAudit you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
MedAudit is available to:
- NHS staff at St George's University Hospitals with a valid @stgeorges.nhs.uk or @nhs.net email address
- Medical students and academic staff at UK universities with a valid .ac.uk email address
By registering you confirm that you hold an eligible email address and that the information in your profile is accurate.
Acceptable use
You agree to use MedAudit only for legitimate clinical audit, quality improvement, and healthcare research purposes. You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent project listings
- Use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or harm other users
- Share patient identifiable data or clinical records through the platform
- Use the platform to solicit personal gain unrelated to legitimate research
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts
Projects and applications
Project leads are responsible for the accuracy of project listings, including compliance with relevant NHS R&D approvals, ethical considerations, and institutional governance requirements. MedAudit does not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for individual projects listed on the platform.
MedAudit is a collaboration tool only — it does not constitute formal project registration, ethical approval, or any NHS R&D process.
Not for clinical decisions
MedAudit is a research collaboration tool. Nothing on the platform constitutes clinical advice, and it must not be used to inform patient care decisions.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you post (project descriptions, messages, profile information). By posting content you grant MedAudit a licence to display and store it for the purposes of operating the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.
Beta disclaimer
MedAudit is currently in beta. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time during the beta period. We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@medaudit.co.uk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Registered users will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
